AppleCare Digital Social and Video
Collaborated with the AppleCare Digital Social & Video Team to develop a variety of interactive and informative online content that was featured on Twitter, YouTube, and Apple Support. By using both static and motion graphics, we aimed to help existing and potential Apple customers become more familiar with their Apple products. Our ultimate goal was to provide comprehensive and detailed information that would allow users to fully utilize the features and capabilities of their Apple devices.
A unique solution for featuring new Apple products without custom photography
Custom photography can significantly enhance a brand's visual appeal and integrity within social platforms. In cases where custom photography for content and channel artwork was unavailable, I developed an alternative method of showcasing devices through original art. My approach involved integrating device operating system aesthetics to create artwork that felt familiar and specific to AppleCare Digital. The background art was visually appealing and highlighted Apple devices in a fun and approachable light while reinforcing Apple brand integrity.

Motion Content Creative
Motion Posts
Creating engaging content is critical to capturing the attention of users on social media. Incorporating motion elements in a post can significantly enhance its impact. To achieve this, I worked with motion artists to develop customized intro and end cards based on the original art I created for individual posts and profile image for Twitter, YouTube, and Weibo. By using these customized intro and end cards, we created a dynamic opening and closing experience that amplified the overall message of the post. However, not all motion posts require both intro and end cards. Single-image backgrounds were also used for varying motion posts in different aspect ratios.
Static Content Creative
Static Posts
All background art images were meticulously designed with consideration for typography, device imagery, and canvas dimensions. In the case of a "Gallery" post, the original background art was created to fit seamlessly and appear continuous across four frames. To allow for custom layout, shape, and color modifications, I created a new template. This gave designers the flexibility to design their own arrangement and background art with ease. For a "Poster" post, a single background art image was used, much like motion posts in varying aspect ratios. Ideally, each of the four frames in a "Gallery" post could be repurposed for a "Poster" post.
Photography
Custom photography can be used for static posts as well as channel art for Twitter, YouTube, Weibo, and product pages on the Apple Support site. The selected images are carefully retouched and then incorporated into a layout design that takes into account the placement of text and available space on the canvas. Photography has the power to both grab the viewer's attention and help them connect with the content on a personal level.
Illustration
Custom illustrations have been carefully handcrafted and incorporated into both static and motion posts to set an atmosphere that is playful and welcoming. The illustrations were thoughtfully designed to reflect and celebrate diversity, individuality, and creativity.
